Prime Minister Narendra Modi is replying to the Motion of Thanks on the President’s address in the lower house of Parliament today.
Union Health Minister JP Nadda will also make a statement regarding the status of implementation of the recommendations or observations contained in the 143rd & 154th reports of the Standing Committee on Health and Family Welfare on Demands for Grants pertaining to MoHFW.
On Monday Rahul Gandhi delivered his first speech as the LoP with a copy of the Constitution and photos of religious figures, including Lord Shiva – launched a fierce attack on the BJP and its ideological mentor, the RSS.

“Congress always lied on reservation and constitution,” said PM Modi.
“You keep smiling even during difficult situation. But what happened yesterday should be taken seriously to save the dignity of the House. We can’t avoid these by saying ‘balak buddhi’. Because they have sinister intentions,” said PM Modi.
“They lied over Agniveer, they lied that MSP is not being given,” said PM Modi.
“They lie over reservation, EVM, constitution, LIC, HAL,” said PM Modi.
“People are checking their bank accounts,” said PM Modi, taking a swipe at Rahul Gandhi.
“New drama for gaining sympathy. They know that most of them are out on bail in corruption cases. They had to apologise to issue irresponsible statement on Supreme Court” said PM Modi, launching a sharp attack on the opposition.
“They spread anarchy over CAA,” PM Modi attacked Congress.
“The Congress spreading anarchy in the country,” said PM Modi
“Congress’ 99 seats is the result of its allies’ efforts. Which is why I call it a parasite,” said PM Modi.
“These elections are a message for Congress’ allies. It would be known as a parasitic Congres,” said PM Modi.
“A student secured 99 marks and was showing it off. Then his teachers said this is not out of 100 but 543,” said PM Modi
“This time around, they somehow managed 99 seats,” said PM Modi taking a swipe at the Congress
“It’s third big loss for the opposition. But, they think they have defeated us,” said PM Modi.
“In these elections, there was a mandate for the Congress also. The mandate was you sit in Opposition,” said PM Modi
“The BJP has opened its account in Kerala this time,” said PM Modi.
“6 months ago, we won Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh,” said PM Modi.
“There were assembly elections in four states along with Lok Sabha polls. The NDA registered a massive victory in all these states,” said PM Modi.
“I have said this before also, our third term means that we will put 3x more efforts, it means we will get 3x results for the people,” said PM Modi.
“In 10 years, we took a lot of steps for women empowerment,” said PM Modi.
“We will move towards the modern India but we will be grounded,” said PM Modi
“In 10 years, we managed to bring economy from number 10 to number 5. Now we will take it to number 3,” said PM Modi.
“Today, India has massive goals. India is at a situation now where it has to compete with itself and move forward,” said PM Modi
“The wall of Article 370 was demolished and democracy was strengthened,” said PM Modi.
“Today’s India does surgical strikes. Today, the country’s people know that for its security and safety, India can do anything,” said PM Modi.
“The country gave us an opportunity to serve them in 2014 and that was the beginning of its development,” said PM Modi.
“Before 2014, there was a period of scams after scams,” said PM Modi.
“We will work for 24×7 for 2047 Viksit Bharat Plan,” said PM Modi.

“In these elections, we went to the government with a big resolution, to seek their blessings. We sought their blessings for the Viksit Bharat resolution,” said PM Modi.
“The elections proved how mature the public of this country are,” said PM Modi
“We worked for contentment and not appeasement,” said PM Modi
“Our government has been trying to move forward with the motto of ‘Sabha Sath, Sabha Vikas’
“World is looking at the country with pride. All of our decisions had only one measure – India first,” said PM Modi.
“The public saw our track record of ten years. The public saw our efforts for the upliftment of poor,” said PM Modi.

“I understand the plight of some who even after spreading lies got defeated in the elections,” said PM Modi.

Opposition members on Tuesday said the “arrogance” and “vindictiveness” of BJP leaders during elections downgraded the popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who now has to depend on alliance partners to provide a stable government.
Participating in the discussion on the Motion of Thanks to the president’s address, Trinamool Congress member Kalyan Banerjee said the recent Lok Sabha elections had ushered in a change in the country which now has “an unstable government and a strong opposition”.
DMK Rajya Sabha member P Wilson on Tuesday urged the central government to either abolish medical entrance exam NEET or approve Tamil Nadu’s NEET exemption bill to exclude the state from the competitive exam.
His appeal in the Upper House of Parliament came amid a row over alleged irregularities in the conduct of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for admissions to medical courses. During the debate on the Motion of Thanks to the President’s address in the Rajya Sabha, he said the state legislative assembly had passed the Tamil Nadu Admission to Medical Courses Bill in 2021 and subsequently passed a resolution unanimously against the exam and to address the “NEET menace”.
