The 10 Different Types Of Learners—Infographic
Did you know that there are 10 different types of learners?
First, we’ve got kinesthetic learners who prefer a hands-on approach to learning. They learn best through doing and usually excel in labs and workshops. Then there are the reading/writing learners who thrive on text. They love reading and keeping notes, as that helps them process information.
Next, we have the visual learners. These people grasp information best through images, diagrams, charts, and infographics. Auditory learners now absorb information through listening and they benefit from lectures, discussions, and audio recordings.
Natural learners can learn through natural means. Their minds retain information in various settings, such as classrooms, while studying alone, or during group study. Linguistic learners have a knack for words, excelling through reading, writing, and storytelling, and are really good at learning languages.
Intrapersonal learners are introspective. They learn best when they can study alone and reflect. On the flip side, though, interpersonal learners thrive in group settings and learn better through collaboration.
Logical learners prefer reasoning and systems. They enjoy puzzles, math, and structured problem-solving. Lastly, musical learners understand concepts better through rhythm and music. They may use songs to memorize information and are good at learning to play musical instruments.
