Components like the saree guard and front number plate holder hint that the bike is inching closer to an India launch.
The upcoming Bajaj-Triumph bikes have been spotted quite a few times and with these latest spy shots, we can see that the bike now sports the necessary bits to be homologated and go on sale in India.
Bajaj-Triumph bikes spied: details
When the Bajaj-Triumph bike was spotted last time around, its exhaust was a single header pipe that culminated into a twin exit set-up. However, this time around, they have reverted to its earlier design, which was a single exhaust exit. What can also be seen is a rear grab handle for the pillion. Much like the more premium Bonneville range in Triumph’s line-up, the bike also gets a single-piece seat that appears to be quite spacious. The bar-end mirrors visible here might be a part of the vast accessory catalogue that Triumph offers with its models.
Another interesting tidbit that has come to light regarding the launch timeline for these upcoming Bajaj-Triumph models, is that they will finally break cover in the last quarter of this year. This information has come to light courtesy of KTM’s exceedingly forthright CEO, Stefan Pierer, in an interview with Motorcycle.com.
It remains to be seen what finally emerges once the dust settles around the Bajaj-Triumph partnership, and in the meantime, you can read all about Bajaj’s upcoming plans to manufacture KTM’s twin-cylinder bikes in India by clicking here.
Considering that these upcoming Bajaj-Triumph bikes are targeting Royal Enfield, which one would you go for and why? Let us know in the comments.
